Almost a decade ago, The Fynches were formed by actor/ musician Ferdia Walsh-Peelo [Sing Street, CODA] and guitarist Josh Hackett (Tadhg Griffin, David San Clair) as a busking act paying homage to the likes of The Rolling Stones and The Beach boys.

After years of writing and recording the band released their debut double single Absent Words / (The Popular Art of) Bed Making in February this year with members Cam Teehan (Of All Living Things) and Oisín Walsh-Peelo (ODeer, Hudson Taylor) joining the group. ‘The Fynches’ received a big reaction from Irish audiences. Winning them a slot on ‘The Late Late Show Ireland' and selling out their first ever headline in Sin É Dublin last April. (The Popular Art of (Bed Making) Child of Nature (John Lennon cover)
