The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is seeking a Director of Artistic Planning to contribute strategically and creatively to its future.

The role involves working with the CEO, Music Director, and players to advance the orchestra’s musical reputation and reach. Candidates should have significant experience in music programming, a strong knowledge of orchestral repertoire, and a commitment to community inclusion. The position requires a collaborative leader with strong networks in the orchestral world and an interest in cross-cultural and cross-art form collaborations.
