Natalie Clein & Friends at BIAF22
Part of the longstanding partnership between BBC Radio 3 and Belfast International Arts Festival, this year welcomes Natalie Clein and Friends for a series of free concerts in St Mark's Church in East Belfast.
The British cellist Natalie Clein came to widespread attention when she won both the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 1994 and the Eurovision Competition for Young Musicians in Warsaw. Since then her distinguished career has seen her perform at major venues and with orchestras worldwide, and deliver some truly unique chamber music collaborations.
Across three nights, in the glorious setting of the CS Lewis Church, St. Mark’s Dundela, Natalie will be introducing a handful of her starry friends. Expect glitz and the very finest music-making.
"She produces an astonishing range of colours and evokes the widest variety of expressive styles" Gramophone
