Brundibár Arts Festival: The White Rose

Brundibár Arts Festival: The White Rose

Saturday, 22 January 2022, 7.30pm

Join us for the opening concert of Brundibár Arts Festival 2022.

This year's festival is dedicated to inspirational women who showed great courage during the Holocaust, and we'll be showcasing the work of some incredible female composers.

This event is dedicated to Sophie Scholl, a German anti-Nazi activist convicted of high treason after distributing anti-war leaflets at the University of Munich. As a result, she was executed by guillotine at the age of just 21.

Sophie and so many others showed such great courage in times of such adversity. We hope you will join us to remember them, while enjoying some beautiful music along the way.
