The Royal Academy of Music is seeking an enthusiastic and organised administrator for the Strings Workshop, which houses a world-class collection of modern and historical stringed instruments that are used by students and professional musicians. Working in liaison with key contacts across many Academy departments, your role will include co-ordinating the loan and return of instruments, student liaison, providing departmental administrative support, processing invoices and other finance administration, servicing meetings, plus general administrative duties and record keeping.

This role will suit a friendly, confident individual who enjoys interaction with students. You should possess relevant administrative experience, a good standard of general education, good IT skills and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge and experience of working in a Higher Education environment, together with an interest in music or performing arts is desirable.
