Rianta / Impressions is a conceptual project based on the themes of art and community developed by Tóla Custy (Fiddle), Pauline Scanlon (Vocals), Cillian King (Guitars) and Alan Doherty (Flute). It will be performed in four unique arts spaces across Ireland and will feature four specially commissioned audio-visual pieces filmed by Alan (Aldoc Productions) and set to music composed by the quartet. The group having been working on new compositions and arrangements of traditional material for the past year and will tour Ireland in April and May 2020. The project is funded by The Arts Council of Ireland.
