The Arts Council, in collaboration with Cork City Council Arts Office, is inviting interested parties to submit proposals for theatre development services in Cork City, Ireland. The goal of the Cork Theatre Development Funding is to establish a Theatre Development Centre that supports the growth of professional theatre in the region.

The Theatre Development Centre will be a valuable resource for theatre artists, playwrights, and makers, providing a suitably equipped space for workshopping, experimentation, and idea development. While occasional public events may be hosted at the centre, its primary function will not be public performance.

Individual artists, organisations, and collaborative applicants are encouraged to apply for funding, with a maximum award of €200,000 available. The application deadline is 17:30, Thursday 11 May 2023, and applications can be submitted through the online services website.
