A double-bill concert of traditional Irish music and song presented by Irish Music & Dance in London (IMDL). Featuring: Mike McGoldrick, Dezi Donnelly, Ed Boyd and friends. Support from The Trad Gathering.

Steeped in family, Mike McGoldrick (flute/pipes) and Dezi Donnelly (fiddle) embody Manchester Irish tradition. They have developed their own influential style which is popular globally. Years spent exploring the music together, across world stages in many collaborative projects, have produced duet playing which is effortless and intuitive.

Mike and Dezi will be joined by guitarist Ed Boyd and other special guests.

IMDL’s youth project ‘The Trad Gathering’ presents an ensemble of great young London Irish musicians together to perform music from the legendary Donegal fiddler, Danny Meehan.

This evening’s event is the annual fundraiser for the Irish Music and Dance in London (IMDL) who promote Irish arts throughout the city.
