Create and Sing Project Manager, Learning and Participation

Create and Sing is the Royal Opera House`s flagship national learning programme based on dramatic-singing. The programme provides creative CPD training to school teachers across the country and empowers them to deliver an exciting, curriculum-based 10-week course to their class; the Create and Sing Project Manager will spear-head nurturing these relationships in the music and education sector alongside ROH colleagues and share with teaching professionals free ROH skills-building resources.

This position is to lead upon the Create and Sing programme; extending the programme`s reach to provide arts & cultural access to young people and their teachers across the UK and managing the development of new schemes of work for KS1-KS3 classes, based upon the repertoire of the Royal Opera.

The Project Manager will be a dynamic individual responsible for collaborating to develop dramatic singing schemes of work for ROH`s digital Learning Platform; managing creative practitioners; co-coordinating and designing teacher training days, managing school and stakeholder relationships; monitoring and overseeing the Create and Sing Programme budget and the evaluation process.

This key role will work closely with the Head of National Programmes to identify and develop partnerships for scaling up the programme and the L&P Opera Manager to ensure artistic and strategic alignment to other areas of the opera learning portfolio; to talent development programmes; and the work of The Royal Opera.
