Saturday, 23 November 2019, 8.00pm

Na deartháireacha Brían agus Diarmuid Mac Gloinn i dteannta Alan McFadden a dheineann suas an grúpa Ye Vagabonds. Ó Chontae Ceatharlach, bhogadar go Baile Átha Cliath sa bhliain 2012 agus cuirfeadh aithne orthu i saol an cheoil traidisiúnta ansin. Tá siad aitheanta mar amhránaithe iontacha daonna chomh maith le scríobhneoirí amhráin leis. Tháinig an darna albam dá gcuid 'The Hare's Lament' amach níos luaithe sa bhliain agus amhráintí traidisiúnta éagsúla air, ina measc leaganacha a bhfuaireadar ó Róise na nAmhrán. Tá siad ainmnithe do ghradam 'Amhrán na Bliana' ag na BBC Folk Awards don leagan álainn den amhrán 'The Foggy Dew' atá ar an albam nua.

Ye Vagabonds are brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn alongside Alan McFadden. The brothers grew up in rural Carlow but moved to Dublin in 2012 and became known on the traditional Irish, blues and folk scenes in the city, playing folk songs as well as their own original material. Their blend of harmonic folk music is influenced by traditional Irish and European music, American old time, and the music of the 1960s folk revival. They have been nominated for Folk Song of the Year at the BBC Folk Awards for their version of 'The Foggy Dew' which is available on their most recent album, 'The Hare's Lament'. This album has received fantastic reviews to date and includes folk songs which they learned from Arranmore's Róise na nAmhrán as well as from various singing circles in Dublin. This will be their first performance at Ionad Cultúrtha, Baile Mhúirne.
