The British Art Network (BAN) is inviting applications for the Emerging Curators Group (ECG) 2024 bursary opportunity. This programme is aimed at individuals engaged in exhibitions or art research with a focus on British art. Selected members will participate in the ECG for nine months, from January to September 2024. The initiative is particularly keen to include art professionals from under-represented backgrounds in the curatorial landscape.

Participants will benefit from workshops, individual research support, and a £700 bursary for research and professional development, with an additional £500 research support honorarium. There’s also a provision for collaborative fund applications within the ECG. Online taster sessions will be held on 18th and 19th September 2023.

Applications should be submitted by 10am BST on 16 October 2023.
