The Barbican Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join the Music Department as a Technician. You will be working alongside a team of colleagues of different specialisms and skills in the delivery of high-level technical support to all music & commercial events in the Barbican Concert Hall, Foyers and Commercial Venues.

This position therefore requires a high level of competence in sound, lighting, video, and stage equipment for a wide range of music, commercial and television events. You will have a very good working knowledge of all technical genres but being a specialist in Sound or Audio Visual will be essential. You will also be required to work at heights. An active interest and knowledge of the entertainment industry is desirable.

This is an irregular shift-based role rota’d over 7 days and includes weekend and evening work.
