TG4 and the Arts Council invite applications for ilDÁNA 2025, a scheme supporting the production of two ambitious, feature-length arts documentaries in the Irish language or bilingual format. Each project will receive up to €135,000, with an emphasis on inclusivity and diversity in the arts.

Key Details:
• Eligibility: Open to all applicants.
• Project Scope: Feature-length documentaries offering a creative exploration of arts subjects. Contemporary topics are preferred, though historical subjects with modern treatments will be considered.
• Budget: Up to €135,000 per film. Additional funding for theatrical exhibition may be available.
• Format: HD with English subtitles.
• Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the TG4 e-Commissioning system by 17:00 on Friday, 21 February 2025.

• Detailed proposal, creative treatment, and production budget.
• CVs of key team members.
• Evidence of ownership and permissions.
• Director’s previous work samples.

Selected films will premiere in cinemas before their TG4 broadcast in 2026.
