Emerging Musicians Fellowship

Emerging Musicians Fellowship

Wednesday, 26 January 2022, 5.00pm

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra Emerging Musicians Fellowship is a development opportunity for emerging orchestral musicians, offering an immersive experience with a fee of £2,000.

Applications are open now and close on 26 January 2022.

In the 2022-23 season, four Fellows will be immersed within the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra undertaking five patches of inductions, rehearsals, performances, training (musical and non-musical) and education work, during four weeks spread over the period September 2022 – July 2023. Fellows will rehearse and perform alongside the Orchestra for three intensive weeks.

Fellows will attend a two day induction in Liverpool on 30 June – 1 July 2022. Fellows must be available for these dates to undertake the Fellowship.

The Fellowship will culminate in a final wrap week including an exit audition (to join our regular extras list, or for ongoing development), a more intimate chamber performance alongside other Fellows, and events to welcome the next cohort of Fellows.
