Gruff Rhys
Gruff Rhys will perform at The Sugar Club in Dublin on the 15th and 16th February, with doors on both nights opening at 7.30pm.
The concerts, part of his UK and Ireland tour, follow the release of his latest album, “Sadness Sets Me Free,” under the Rough Trade label last month.
Rhys, whose career spans over 35 years, has released his 25th album with “Sadness Sets Me Free.” This album serves as a follow-up to his 2021 release, “Seeking New Gods,” which was his first solo record to enter the top ten. The new album is available in several formats, including a distinctive Dinked edition featuring ‘honeycomb neo-neapolitan’ vinyl, an LP sleeve with ‘container doors,’ and a bonus 7” containing exclusive audio for the initial 1,500 copies. Additionally, a gatefold soft pack CD version of the album includes a pull-out poster.
