Birmingham City University invites applications to the position of Research Assistant - Music Education.

The post-holder will work with colleagues in the School of Education and the Centre for Studies in Culture and Practice in Education (CSPACE) to make a significant contribution to the development of our research in Education.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious early career researcher ideally already registered on or willing to start a PhD in an area cognisant with our work in CSPACE. Our ideal candidate will have a practitioner profile in any phase of music education with some experience of project work and related activities such as bid writing and aspects of project delivery or co-ordination.

The post-holder will make a contribution to teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as appropriate and be willing to undertake a programme of study leading to HE fellowship.
