Chamber Music on Valentia is accepting applications for a composition masterclass session with our Featured Composer, Deirdre McKay and Festival Artists on writing for the violin and cello.

This special opportunity is aimed at young and emerging composers to explore sounds, techniques, notations and does not require any pre-composed material, although sketches can be worked through.

During COVID-19
In response to the current global situation, this project will take place online. Chamber Music on Valentia and invited guests will lead the project by video conferencing, and recordings, sketches and sound ideas will be shared digitally.

Owing to the uncertainty brought by COVID-19, we and the participating performers and music creators will be required to take a flexible, innovative approach to process and delivery.
