Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London is seeking part-time (14 hours per week) Research Associate for a fixed-term position (3 years) on the UKRI-funded Immersive Opera project.

This role, with a pro-rata salary range of £41,360–£46,050 (including Inner London Weighting), involves researching audience engagement with immersive opera using technologies like VR, AR, and spatial audio.

The successful candidate will conduct research on audience behaviour, design and execute experimental studies, and produce various research outputs including journal articles and conference papers. Responsibilities also include engaging with external partners, supervising doctoral students, and enhancing the research environment.
