RTÉ invites applications for the position of RTÉ Radio Commissions Administrator in the Independent Radio Productions (IRP) Unit.

RTÉ has a statutory spend which must be spent with the independent radio sector on a yearly basis to create original and high-quality radio programming. This involves the administering and tracking of a number of commissioning rounds. Reporting to the Director of Acquisitions & Co-Productions and working within the IRP unit, the Administrator is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the administration of RTÉ Radio Commissions, ensuring all aspects of the process are updated and maintained.

The Radio Commissions Administrator is responsible for the daily management of all independent radio commissions for RTÉ radio stations (RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and RTÉ Lyric fm). She/he will liaise with the independent sector and internally across RTÉ with relevant editorial, finance, legal and broadcast services personnel. In addition, this role provides other Radio administrative support as required, including processing payments.
