The National Gallery of Ireland is seeking a Communications Assistant for its Communications, Marketing & Digital Engagement team. The role entails assisting with external and internal communications campaigns, creating and coordinating campaigns, drafting press releases, overseeing media monitoring, supporting internal communications, and liaising with various Gallery departments.

The ideal candidate should have a third-level qualification in Arts or Communications/Marketing, previous PR and Communications experience, and strong IT skills. Familiarity with the Irish media landscape, excellent writing abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

The position is permanent and full-time, requiring 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility. Salary aligns with the 1st point of the Clerical Officer Scale (PPC), currently €519.96 per week.
