The Royal Academy of Music is hiring a Research Manager to work closely with senior managers and relevant academic staff to transform the Academy’s research environment.

Drawing on your experience and current knowledge of the UK’s research environment, you will advise senior managers on the development of the Academy’s research policies and their implementation and will deliver agreed enhancements to the Academy’s research infrastructure and support.

To be successful in this role you will need previous experience as an administrator in Higher Education with knowledge of research in relation to performing arts, funding and policy within the UK along with excellent skills in planning, managing and delivering projects to time and within budget. You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to relate effectively with staff and students from a wide range of backgrounds, and to be able to provide them with advice, guidance, and support.
