Join Lynnsey & Treasa for the launch of their album, Dyad. Dyad, meaning “twoness,” shows how tunes from archival collections pair seamlessly with modern compositions. Sharing a like-minded approach, the two musicians blend their sound to create the effect of a solo performer enjoying freedom of variation with the tunes.

Lynnsey Weissenberger (fiddle) and Treasa Harkin (button accordion) draw inspiration from the collections at the Irish Traditional Music Archive, where they both work. They will perform sets from Dyad, highlighting older tunes as well as new compositions appearing on a commercial recording for the first time.
