Pitlochry Festival Theatre is seeking a Marketing Officer to join their team. The theatre, established in 1951, has been a significant presence in Highland Perthshire's artistic scene for over 70 years. Offering a unique theatrical experience, it attracts over 100,000 visitors annually with its large-scale plays, musicals, festivals, workshops, and other events for various age groups.

The Marketing Officer position offers a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, with a salary of £26,000 per annum. The role can be based in Pitlochry or as a hybrid arrangement, and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer will work closely with the Development Director, Producer, and Relationships Team.

The primary goal of the Marketing Officer is to increase the number of people and organisations engaging with Pitlochry Festival Theatre through proactive marketing and sales campaigns, focusing on both the artistic programmes and the organisation as a whole. The role involves supporting the delivery of Marketing and Sales strategic plans and assisting colleagues' strategic plans where appropriate.

The ideal candidate should hold a marketing or business-related HND or professional qualification. Essential skills include experience in social media and digital marketing, delivering marketing campaigns, updating WordPress website content, and working with an established brand. Knowledge of booking systems, Google Analytics, social media channels, and Spektrix reports would be advantageous.

Additional desirable skills include experience in mentoring junior staff, developing marketing briefs for external agencies, and creating print and digital collateral. The candidate should also demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to analyse data-driven insights, and a focus on customer satisfaction and experience.
