Bairbre Anne is one of Ireland's latest emerging talents. Her debut album 'I Wanted to do it Right but There's no Such Thing' will be launched in June at a series of concerts where she opens as special guest for Paul Brady and Theo Katzman, at The Cork Opera House (June 1st), Vicar Street Dublin (June 2nd), UCH Limerick (June 4th) and Ulster Hall Belfast (June 5th). The album was recorded in Black Dog Studios London, produced by Sean Genockey, with guest musicians Steve Bowman (Counting Crows), Jesse Wood (Reef), Melvin Duffy (First Aid Kit), John Hogg (The Magpie Salute) and Paul Brady.

Over the past number of years Bairbre has special guested with Paul Brady, Imelda May, Adam Cohen (son of Leonard), Gavin James and James Vincent McMorrow amongst others. She recently moved back to Dublin from London, where she gigged in prestigious venues including Ronnie Scotts, where she met renowned producer Sean Genockey. Working with Genockey she has written and recorded her debut album 'I wanted to Do it Right but There's No Such Thing'
