Evlana Ensemble | Perfect Offering
Evlana are proud to present an exciting programme of 21st century works for chamber ensemble including the Irish premiere of Cassandra Miller’s poignant “Perfect Offering” which takes its title from the Leonard Cohen quote “Ring the bells that still can ring, forget your perfect offering”, John Corigliano’s intriguing settings of “Tambourine Man: Seven poems of Bob Dylan", Jessie Montgomery’s extraordinary celebration of American folk idioms, dance and movement in “Strum” and two captivating works by Irish composers; Jane O’Leary’s “beneath the dark blue waves” and Jonathan Nangle’s “Granular Dusk”.
