2024 Red Line Book Festival Poetry Competition

The 2024 Red Line Book Festival Poetry Competition is now accepting submissions from poets across Ireland.

The competition, marking its eleventh year, will be judged by award-winning poet Patrick Deeley. The first-place winner will receive a €300 cash prize, with additional prizes of €200 and €100 for second and third places, respectively. Shortlisted poets will have the opportunity to read their work during the 2024 Red Line Book Festival, taking place from 14 to 20 October.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, 16 September 2024. The shortlist will be announced on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, and the winner will be revealed during the festival.
