Our search is coming to an end, as a starry array of international talent competes in Leeds for the prestigious gold medal.

This year is like no other in our history and we have gone to the ends of the earth to make sure our pianists can take part. They are ready to take the stage after so many months separated from their audience. In the thrilling culmination of the 20th Leeds International Piano Competition, five finalists compete for the life-changing opportunity to follow in the footsteps of piano legends such as Murray Perahia, Radu Lupu, Mitsuko Uchida and Eric Lu – we invite you to join us live and be part of their amazing journey in Leeds.

Three concertos will be performed on Friday 17th
Two concertos will be performed on Saturday 18th, followed by the Jury deliberation and award ceremony

Competitors are asked to submit two choices of concerto. Only one concerto will be chosen by the Jury to be performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Find all the Rules, Regulations, Repertoire and Prizes for the 2021 Competition here.

*The five Finalists will be announced following the announcement of our Semi-finals results at 00:00hrs 15 September.
