Kirkos – Music for Cranes

Kirkos – Music for Cranes

Sunday, 19 September 2021, 6.30pm

Dublin is being torn down and transformed.

Every route through town forces you past the shell of a place you used to love: a venue, a café, a community space. It’s impossible to imagine Dublin without cranes, the symbol nobody asked for.

But what if they were used to build something that would benefit us all? In an outdoor performance reading Dublin’s cranes as musical notation, we’ll play music to them – and to you – remembering Dublin’s past, imagining its future.
