Guildhall School of Music & Drama is hiring a Senior Student Returns Officer to provide high level, professional, technical and administrative support.

This is a specialist role playing a key part in ensuring that the School produces and submits accurate and timely statutory reports to external government bodies. Working alongside the Student Data & Information Manager, the role holder will design, develop and implement processes to maintain the integrity of the School’s student data within the frameworks established by the Office for Students and/or HESA.

The role holder will be located within the Registry team, and will work closely with the Student Data & Information Manager.

The successful applicant will need a sound knowledge and understanding of student based statutory returns (e.g. HESA Student, Graduate Outcomes, HESES, UNISTATS, Data Futures) and student databases. Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), a high level of numeracy and experience of analysing complex data sets. They will also be required to demonstrate effective problem solving, excellent communication skills in speech and writing, and the ability to manage projects.
