The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Comedy Bursary has been established to help an early career writer/ performer move towards the realisation of a live comedy performance or devise a comedy show in collaboration with others.

The company will invest £2,000 into this project. Please provide an overview of your writing career to date, and an explanation of how you would use this money, accompanied by a short sample of your work ( video, recordings or written submissions welcome).

It is envisaged that the Award Winner will be invited to present a new show at the 23rd Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival (April 27 – May 7, 2023).
