Open Auditions

Irish National Opera will hold general auditions for all voice types where singers will have an opportunity to sing for Artistic Director, Fergus Sheil.

Audition requirements are as follows:
– One operatic aria/excerpt sung in the original language.
– In some cases, a second aria may be requested.
– The auditions will take place on Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th November between 10am and 5pm at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

A detailed individual schedule will be drawn up and an audition time will be allocated on the basis of CV submitted. Please send an updated CV with your audition request. These auditions are primarily aimed at singers that are new to INO or have not sung for the company recently. Any singer that has sung for the company recently or on many occasions need not apply again.

A répétiteur will be provided. Please provide copies of the scores for the répétiteur.
