The Barbican Centre in London is hiring an Operations Manager to join the Audience Experience and Operations team, one of the two departmental teams in the Buildings and Operations Division that covers both Barbican Centre and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

The Barbican and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, together with the LSO, have formed a creative alliance and are working collaboratively to establish a Cultural Quarter in the heart of the City.

The Audience Experience and Operations team manages and oversees all aspects of Audience, Venues, Front of House and Foyers Event Management, Facilities, Soft Service Contract Management, Security, Box Office, Access, Licensing, Health & Safety and Fire Safety Management.

You will work with the other Operations Managers on a rota basis to provide management cover during the opening hours of the Centre and the School. The successful post-holder will also act as representative of the licensee and assume responsibility for all activity taking place.
