Following the resounding success of the Rodger’s & Hammerstein classic ‘The King and I’ in February 2020 which received 2 AIMS Awards, the Sligo Musical Society’s planned production of ‘The Sound of Music’ which was scheduled for next February, will now take place in February 2023. In the meantime, for one night only, Sligo Musical Society proudly presents ‘A Celebration of the Life of Ger McColgan’ in a magical evening of theatre entertainment to honour the memory of our dear friend.

Featuring the best of local talent in a diverse mix of music, song, dance and recitation, it was Ger’s request that this concert be staged in support of Sligo Musical Society of which she was a loyal and committed member for many years, both onstage and at committee level.
