Royal Scottish National Orchestra seeks a Head of Trusts and Projects.

The central purpose of this post is to maximise income generation for the RSNO from Trusts, Foundations and Statutory sources. As Head of Trusts and Projects you will be responsible for supporting and leading the Trusts and Projects team in achieving annual income targets by delivering a high-quality Trusts and Projects programme.

You will maintain a personal portfolio of high value funders and you will be tasked with devising and implementing new approaches to strengthen and retain relationships, ensuring that the RSNO’s offering is comprehensive and competitive. This will involve extensive drafting of business cases, bids and proposals, often to tight deadlines; therefore, exceptional written skills and impeccable attention to detail are a pre-requisite for this role.

The post holder will lead an internal project team to support project development and delivery, and generate essential core and project income for the organisation. The post holder will also line manage the work of the Trusts and Projects Manager, including overseeing the digital aspects of this role.
