Join Lynette Fay in conversation with Dr Úna Monaghan, the author of the paper “121 Stories: the impact of gender on participation in Irish traditional music”. Úna is a Belfast-based musician, composer, academic and sound engineer. In 2021, Dr Monaghan’s research paper was published in the journal Ethnomusicology Ireland and it details experiences of sexism in Irish traditional music.
