Specialist Study Support Tutor

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is seeking an experienced practitioner to provide specialist one-to-one study support to neurodiverse and disabled students across all music and drama degree programmes who are in receipt of Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA).

The successful candidate will have specialised teaching qualification/s, and will be a member of a suitable professional body. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, remain calm, think clearly, and act decisively in difficult situations; they will also exhibit a pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude, while working within confidentiality legislation and with discretion. The candidate will have excellent organisational skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills and excellent IT skills. They will also have demonstratable experience using assistive technology,

Based at Cardiff, and on a remote basis due to Covid-19, this role will provide you with an opportunity to utilise your range of skills as a specialist disability practitioner.
