Assistant Customer Services Supervisor (Performing Arts)

Performing Arts is a 6 day a week service and supplies music to over 500 orchestras and choirs throughout Hertfordshire and beyond. Hertfordshire library customers can borrow music, books, CDs, DVDs and plays. We also have music and drama sets available for hire by registered groups. Our showroom is available for members of the public to view the collection, collect items and make enquiries.

As Assistant Customer Service Supervisor you will have the skills and abilities to support:
- The Performing Arts Librarian to actively supervise the team at Performing Arts, including staff timetabling, training and development.
- You will provide effective appraisals, reviews and supervision for the Performing Arts Assistants, as directed by the Performing Arts Librarian.
- Assisting with the delivery and promotion of all Performing Arts services.
- You will have excellent communication skills, whether face-to-face, over the phone, via our monthly newsletter to customers or social media accounts.

A background of knowledge of music and performing arts would be beneficial but not a necessity, as training will be given. Please see full job description for more details on the role.
