A joyous extension of Beauty Sleep's dream-pop live performances
Before hearing Beauty Sleep's debut album Be Kind, I had seen them perform live at a few concerts and festivals in the years running up to this release and was lured in by their take on dream pop, despite having no album to listen to at home. Previous singles such as 'Until We See The Sun' and 'All In' kept me interested in the band and now, Be Kind, a full length album, is a synth pop-driven extension of their live show experience. Electronic with an overall pop outlook, the Belfast trio have managed to release a debut that is charming, bright and vivid, with catchy hooks and choruses. Personal favourites in the track list are 'The Dark', 'Rainbow Ballroom', 'The Feeling Back' and 'Be Kind'.
