Friday, 17 April 2020, 8.00pm

The internationally acclaimed West Ocean String Quartet (WOSQ) marked its 20th anniversary in 2019 with an innovative recording project celebrating the Traditional music of Ireland’s Atlantic coast, from the swinging barn dances of West Donegal down to the grand song-airs and rousing polkas of Kerry. This music, arranged for Classical quartet by WOSQ founder Neil Martin, is now presented in a concert featuring the Quartet’s highly regarded members, Séamus McGuire (violin), Neil Martin (cello), Niamh Crowley (violin) and Ken Rice (viola).
