Jamie Adam is a solo electronic pop artist hailing from County Meath. He recorded his debut album ‘Melodic Electronic’ over the course of the last two years in his bedroom and mixed/mastered it with Martin Quinn at Jam Studios, Kells.

He has released four singles from it and has acquired national radio airplay from 2FM, 98FM, FM104, 8Radio amongst others.

This performance is the second time Jamie has played Whelan’s in 2019 after a mainstage slot at the ‘Ones to Watch’ festival in January.

His music combines 80’s style rhythmic drum machines with synth heavy electro pop, guitars and reverb laden vocals. Think of MGMT meet The XX meet The Pet Shop Boys.. Music to dance to, music to sway to, music to chill out to.

This tour is in support of release of Jamie’s debut album ‘Melodic Electronic’ which is due to come out on the 17th of April. The LP will be made available on vinyl and digital download along with all streaming services.

Support on the night comes from Cable Boy band, a dream pop outfit hailing from Dublin and Antrim. They started off 2019 with the release of their debut EP ‘Whole’ along with a well received slot at Whelans ‘Ones to Watch’ festival.
