Embarking on a nationwide tour across Ireland in May, My Father's Kind is a fusion of traditional Irish music and the poetry of Dermot Bolger. The collaboration pays homage to a bygone generation of Irish artists, including notable figures such as Séamus Ennis, Mary Ann Carolan and Johnny Doherty.

Dermot Bolger will be accompanied by fiddler and composer Danny Diamond, traditional singer Macdara Yeates, and piper, flute player and singer Sheila Friel.
