Our Bloomsday Programme presents Irish ballads and harp solos from the time of James Joyce and readings from Ulysses in both English and German. The contemporary work ‘Smiling Like That…’ by the renowned Irish composer, Rhona Clarke, is a setting of Molly Bloom’s monologue at the end of the novel. It was composed for Aylish Kerrigan and commissioned by the Finglas Arts Council, Dublin.
