The Artists in Schools Scheme, facilitated by Cork County Council, offers a unique opportunity for primary and post-primary students, along with teaching staff, to engage in a collaborative creative project with an artist skilled in any artform. This scheme is open to all Department of Education and Skills-recognised primary and post-primary schools and Youthreach centres within Cork County.

Cork County Council’s Arts Office is organising two information sessions for potential applicants. The first, focusing on the Bursary and Residency Scheme, is scheduled for Thursday 30 November, followed by an Arts Grants Information session on Friday 17 November. Parties interested in these sessions can register their interest via email at arts [at] corkcoco.ie.

In an effort to enhance accessibility, Cork County Council is now accepting video/audio applications through their online portal for the first time. Additional support is available through the Arts Office for applicants requiring further accessibility assistance.

The application window is open from 10 November 2023 and will conclude on 9 January 2024. Applications must be submitted through the designated online portal.
