St. Louis Tionól

St. Louis Tionól

Saturday, 24 April 2021, 1.00am

The Irish word, Tionól, means a gathering with the intent to share. The The Saint Louis Tionól (originally the Mississippi River Celtic Music Festival) sprung out of a meeting between Judy Stein of Focal Point, Michael "Piper" Cooney, and Mike Mullins back in 1997. The goal was to organize a weekend of sessions and workshops focusing on traditional Irish Music. This year, the Tionól is going virtual. Join us April 22-25 for a weekend of Irish music and song brought straight to your computer screen from across the US and Ireland. Registration is now open and we are thrilled to welcome our 2021 tutors: Joey Abarta, Eimear Arkins, Pat Broaders, Brenda Castles, Colin Farrell, Shane Farrell, Eileen Gannon, Liz Knowles, Tommy Martin, Alan Murray, Ciara Ni Bhriain, Kieran O’Hare, Mick O’Brien, Mark Redmond, Robert Ryan John Skelton and Jim Wenham.
