Best Emerging Artist Radio 1 Folk Awards 2022, Cathal Ó Curráin is a multi-instrumentalist from Gaoth Dobhair, Donegal, hails from an exceptionally musical family. He specialises in Irish Traditional and Folk Music on fiddle, banjo, bouzouki and song. Cathal was central to An Crannóg - a musical group that has received huge recognition. His most recent work features on albums with The High Seas, The Conifers, The Friel Sisters and Aoife Scott.

Fee includes admission to all programme events except for evening Concerts, Walking Tour, Trad Quiz and Trad Trail
