The College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Celtic Studies at the University of Galway is accepting applications for its Creative Sector PhD Fee Waiver Scheme. The scheme is open to individuals currently employed in the Irish creative sector or related industries who wish to pursue a part-time PhD with employer support.

Applicants must not already hold a PhD and must have an offer of admission for a part-time PhD aligned with the College’s Signature Research Areas. Up to five waivers may be awarded annually. The scheme covers part of the PhD tuition fee for up to six years, with €750 payable annually by the applicant or employer.

Applications, submitted by the PhD supervisor, are due by 1 May (for September entry) or 1 October (for January entry).
