Calling all Senior Cycle and TY students

Are you interested in pursuing a career in the arts as a designer, a writer, a musician, a composer, or a performer?
Do you have lots of questions you’d like to ask an established artist in your area of interest?
Are you curious about what Opera is all about?

Irish National Opera is looking for confident and articulate senior level secondary school students with an interest in the arts to interview leading artists working in the field of opera for an Arts Council/Creative Schools “Spotlight” feature.

We’re looking for student interviewers to work with Irish National Opera to interview an established opera artist, discussing everything students might be curious to know about their work, their craft and how it relates to the world of opera.

No prior knowledge or experience of opera is required. Successful applicants will work with INO to film and edit their interview, creating a video approximately 5-15 mins in duration which will be shared online via INO and Arts Council channels.

How to apply :
Create a video no longer than 60 seconds, introducing yourself, stating the artistic discipline you’re interested in, and why we should pick you! All videos should be sent as a private link via youtube or vimeo to info [at] irishnationalopera.ie.

Please note that this opportunity is open to all students currently in senior cycle or transition year in addition to students starting senior cycle/TY in September.

See link below for further details.
