Paul Dunmall has been long recognised as one of the most uncompromising and talented reed players on the international jazz/improvised music scene. Whether playing in small groups or big bands his musical sensitivity and limitless imagination make him one of the most inventive improvisers playing today. Fresh from his 60th birthday concert at London’s Vortex Club Dunmall brings his powerful sound and distinctive approach to improvisation to Dublin’s National Concert Hall. He will be joined on this concert by Belfast based drummer Steve Davis and Dublin pianist Rob Casey.
