Creative Places West Cork Islands invites submissions for a public art commission focused on the theme of Ocean & Environment. This commission seeks proposals from socially engaged artists, designers, or creative teams to develop projects addressing environmental and oceanic issues across the seven inhabited West Cork Islands. The project will run from January 2025 to mid-2026, with a budget of €35,000.

Applications must include a project summary, budget outline, CV, and examples of relevant previous work. All documents should be submitted via WeTransfer to arts [at] CorkCoCo.ie by 5pm on October 31st, 2024. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to develop their proposals further in Stage 2.
