TOCHAIL Arts Research Residency
Creative Places Uíbh Ráthach is seeking socially engaged artists and arts collectives for the TOCHAIL residency, a three-week research opportunity in the Iveragh Gaeltacht, South Kerry, during Autumn/Winter 2024.
This residency invites artists to explore new approaches to rural housing issues within the context of climate justice. Applicants should have experience in socially engaged practices and innovative research methods. Residencies will include accommodation and workspace, and artists are expected to engage with local communities. Each residency will culminate in a local event presenting research findings. The total budget for each residency is €5,000, covering materials and travel.
